One of the most unique features of OM-X Probiotics is that it contains Enterococcus
faecalis TH10 (which is cultured from Tempeh - a traditional fermented taufu from
Malaysia), which has been shown in vitro to inhibit MRSA (Methicillin Resistance Staphylococcus
aureus), VRSA (Vancomycin Resistance Staphylococcus aureus), Escherichia coli 0157.
Enterococcus faecalis TH10 has also been shown to be able to adhere to human intestinal
epithelial cells in vitro.
In vitro studies by Prof. Lambert of Australia confirmed the inhibitory effect of OM-X Probiotics
on Helicobacter pylori (1996 unpublished)

The inclusion of 5 colonising strains increases the potency of OM-X Probiotics. Lactobacillus
acidophillus normally colonise the small intestines and Bifidobacteria normally
colonise the large intestines. The transient bacteria potentiates the effect of the probiotics.
This unique selection of friendly bacteria in Probiotics formulation is unprecedented.
VEGETABLE BASED Capsulation
It's soft gel is made of seaweed, bean proteins (agar-agar) and
gluten free wheat. The soft gel will dissolve between 40 - 60 minutes in water. This unique form of capsulation
will prevent contamination and allows the friendly bacteria to bypass the acidity of the stomach and delivers
in the small intestines. For those who have Helicobacter pylori infection of the stomach, the soft gels should
be chewed on empty stomach for maximum effect.
- Long Shelf Life.
Because of the long natural fermentation, the friendly bacteria are adapted to live for long periods in a wide range of temperature:-
- Up to one year at room temperature (below 32 degrees C)
